Over the past 3 years, Veracity has been supporting the future of local university students through internships, work experience and employment opportunities. We now have several students currently undertaking work experience or internships in both IT and marketing from James Cook university and Queensland University of Technology.
Dhaval Trivedi and Shiv Trivedi (pictured right) are both from James Cook University, undertaking their Masters in Information Technology, and are currently working in our IT team, supporting our clients and gaining real world experience. Final year advertising student Matt Hunt from QUT (not pictured) is completing his Bachelor’s degree, and is working alongside our Marketing Co-ordinator. This year we have also have the pleasure of welcoming international student Thomas de Groot (pictured left) from Fontys University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands, who is working on ‘big data’ projects for Veracity, as well as some specialised work for our partners at Queensland Urban Utilities.
Veracity has a long history of supporting university students through work experience and internships, and has developed a close relationship with QUT in particular. Several past interns have since found employment at Veracity after completing their degree, or used their experience at Veracity as a springboard into other careers.
Veracity firmly believes in supporting the future of university students, and is thrilled to welcome our current students into the Veracity team. Learn more about James Cook University internships here, and find out about QUT’s internship programs for IT here and marketing here.
